Stalingrad film to hit the big screen in 3D

The action takes place during the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942-43, one of the most bloody battles in history and a turning point in the Second World War. “It is a touching and dramatic love story. Of course, there will also be battle scenes,” says Bondarchuk. The movie, which will be shot in 3D technology, has a budget of $30m and is due to be released in 2013.
